VNSNY
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) is the largest not-for-profit home health care organization in the nation. Founded in 1893, VNSNY provides expert care daily to over 31,000 patients, ranging from acute care services such as in-home nursing care and rehabilitation therapy, to long-term geriatric care, HIV/AIDS services and home health aides. The Community Mental Health Services Division provides behavioral health treatment and care management to adults and children with complex co-occurring diagnoses.
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) serves all 5 boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Westchester and Suffolk Counties. Health Home Care Management is available in the Bronx and Manhattan. Expert care is provided in over 50 languages, with access to translation services as needed. A variety of payment options is offered, including Medicaid, Medicare, private health insurance, and even private pay. For those who are in need of care and don’t qualify for other insurance options, charitable care is offered.
